Students in grades K-12 are invited to design a poster or T-shirt for the annual River Sweep 2020. The poster contest is open to students living in or attending schools in counties bordering the Ohio River, or counties participating in the River Sweep. This includes all counties along the Ohio River in Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.
Last year, JB Green Team had their own contest on Facebook before the posters were mailed to ORSANCO. This year we are going to have another contest, and parents and the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite poster.

Belmont County Schools: JB Green Team, 67895 Pickering Road, St. Clairsville, OH 43950 by Monday, December 2nd, 2019. This will allow us time for the Facebook contest.
FACEBOOK VOTING: Thursday, December 5th - Friday, December 13, 2019.
JB Green Team will provide each winner a framed copy of their poster and teachers receives a $50.00 gift card to help with the cost of art supplies for students. So students join in the fun and show your talents and create a 2020 Annual River Sweep Student Art Contest (formerly known as River Sweep Poster Contest).
JB Green will mail all entries to ORSANCO by Monday, December 16TH, 2019. Be sure to attach the completed Official Entry Form to the back of each poster. Also, each student who participates will receive a certificate of participation, so please send a list of the student’s names on a separate sheet of paper when delivering your poster entries.
