E-WASTE DROP OFF PILOT PROGRAM

This program has now ended and cages have/are being removed.  If you missed it visit our Special Collections page for 1-day Electronic Collections this summer. We expect to start a one location drop-off site program sometime soon, please check back on this page later.

This Pilot Program is set to run for six months (November 2025 - April 20, 2026) allowing the residents of Jefferson and Belmont Counties to properly dispose of their E-Waste. For upcoming Electronic Collection Events for when this program ends visit our  Special Collections webpage 

IMPORTANTDo not leave e-waste with your personal / sensitive information at any of these unmanned sites. All of our Community Drop-off sits are considered "unsecure", meaning anything you leave at the sites will be at your own risk. JBGT is not responsible / liable for any information stolen from e-waste items left at these public sites.

ACCEPTABLE items include any discarded product with a plug or battery:

✅ TV's (LCD / LED / flat screens / CRTs)

✅ Computer / hard drives (at own risk!)

✅ Servers

✅ Flat Screen Monitors
✅ Laptops (at own risk!)

✅ Switches / routers / hub

✅ VCR / Av Equipment

✅ Cell Phones / chargers (at own risk!)

✅ LCD Screens

✅ Keyboards / Mice / Docking Station

✅ Video Game Consoles

✅ Fax / Copier / Printer / Laser jet

✅ Radios

​UNACCEPTABLE items include:

❌ No Loose Batteries (of any kind)

❌ No electronics with personal data!

❌ No loose wires / cords

❌ No Refrigerations or ovens

❌ No Microwaves

❌ No Sweepers or shop vacs

❌ No Electronics with sensitive information

❌ No Washers or Dryers

❌ No old rotary/push button phones

❌No Blenders / toasters / specialty cookers /

       coffee pots / Keurigs

❌ No humidifiers

❌ No Lamps or bulbs

❌ No Smoke detectors / alarms

❌ No Exit signs

❌ No Air conditioners, ACUs, etc.

❌ No Projection screens

❌ No dismantled or disassembled items or parts

❌ No copy machines

❌ No boxes or foam (in cages-use designated bins)

❌ NO E-WASTE TOO LARGE FOR THE (46"x38")WIRE CAGES!

Cages are 46" W  x 38" W x 40" H
