FOAM CYCLE

We're proud to announce that JB Green Team is bringing innovative recycling solutions to Jefferson and Belmont Counties by introducing Foam Cycle, a specialized system that recycles styrofoam (EPS). This cutting-edge technology will allow us to effectively reduce waste and prevent styrofoam from ending up in landfills.
What is Foam Cycle?
Foam Cycle is a unique recycling company pioneering a closed-loop recycling system to help solve the “foam problem.” Foam packaging and food service foam (commonly known as Styrofoam) is one of the most plentiful yet least recycled plastics in existence today. Foam Cycle’s patented system collects, densifies, and repurposes foam waste, making it an ideal addition to municipal recycling drop-off centers.
Why This Matters:
Foam Cycle’s mission is to eliminate the myths and stigmas surrounding foam recycling by establishing a scalable, effective model that works across the country. Since its start in New Jersey in 2016, over 35 Foam Cycle systems now operate in 12 states, giving more than 11 million residents access to foam recycling where it wasn’t available before. JB Green Team is excited to bring this impactful solution to our region!
How It Works:
Foam Cycle systems will be placed at recycling drop-off centers in Jefferson and Belmont Counties, giving residents an easy way to recycle Styrofoam that doesn’t fit into curbside bins. By adding Foam Cycle to our recycling efforts, we are helping to tackle a global issue on a local level.
